Education
Spread across Val d’Europe’s 5 municipalities, 49 structures cater to children during their school years and well beyond. Indeed, there are no less than 8 crèches, 13 nursery schools, 13 primary schools and 4 secondary schools plus the 11 day care centres that constitute an additional advantage. Furthermore, the secondary school, Emilie du Châtelet in Serris, with an international program that opened in 2010, will ultimately have 1,200 pupils. And finally, there is the Paris Est Marne-la-Vallée University Centre that currently has 1,400 students and notably hosts the Ile-de-France Environmental Engineering Institute (IFIS). This centre will subsequently develop into a campus with 10,000 students.
